Sean joined the Bloomberg Digital Design team at a time when's design was showing its age. It had a predominately black background with white or orange text, meant to emulate the Bloomberg Terminal, which was a standalone product that was wildly popular in the financial world.

Sean's first project there was to redesign the website to make it more legible with better accessibility and up-to-speed with modern technologies like being mobile-friendly.

At this time, Bloomberg also launched Bloomberg View, their first-ever Op-Ed section.
